The Cleethorpes Imperial Flying Club is seriously considering holding a young bird channel race.

This race would be open to all fanciers who’s loft is situated within the boundary of the Lincolnshire  South Road Federation. We would consider opening it to fanciers  north of the river Humber if we thought we would get the support.  The race would be possibly Lillers  (232 miles to me in Cleethorpes) so you see this is not a unrealistic distance  for youngsters. It would probably be a mid week race after the Federation has raced its last race from Hastings. The Club can offer full E.T.S. with ring markers for both Bricon and Unikon  and of cause  normal marking with rubbers.
