Important message to all members of the Federation. First of all I am pleased to tell the membership that as from now the Ashby flying Club can resume racing as the Bird Flue restrictions have now been lifted. You may not be aware that with the passing of Dave and his wife we have had to change the mandate on the Bank Accounts, Unfortunately we are having difficulty with the Bank and we are unable to access the account at this moment. If it was not for the generosity of certain Clubs we would be unable to continue racing. I am certain that you must be aware that with low birdage we are running at a loss, however I am confident that over the entire season we will not run at a loss. So therefore we have had an emergency meeting and have decided that this weeks race will be from Seaham Harbour, this will help the Ashby Club after their long lay off. We know that some members will not be in agreement but, the Federation comes first. Ernie Andrews
